About Me

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Alison, I’m 40 years old and have been married to my beefsteak computer geek, Special K since 2003. We are childless not by choice and finding joy in our family of just two. In 2010 we sold our San Diego home and moved 2,434 miles east to Orlando, Florida due to Special K's job relocating. I'm a domestic engineer (that means I stay home and scrub toilets) but determined to make crafting, blogging and photographing a lucrative endeavor.

I love Jesus and homemade chocolate chip cookies.
I am addicted to coffee and my iPhone.
For fun I dig in the dirt and lay on beaches.

What's in a name?
I have this ridiculous expectation of being perfect. I blame it on my birth order. The problem is that I fail miserably and yet continue to set this absurd standard, hence my Crooked Tiara.
