Running Route

The current route I take to run in the morning loops back to my home (obviously) but it's not enough so I tell myself to do two loops. By the time I get to the end of the first loop, I'm passing home and talk myself out of a second loop.

To trick myself I've mapped out a new route using a cool online routing tool. The website is called Map My Run.

As you can see, I do not pass my home making it hard for me to quit. Yea!

However, the two problems are:
  1. It's less than 2 miles (1.8 to be exact). I'm really looking for something that is over 2 miles.
  2. I run down the very busy side of Chase Ave.
Now, I know that I could extend my run to double-back over some of the areas but I know my mind. I'll be at the tail-end of my run and home is a few short strides away. I do not have the will power to take the long way home.

I tried creating a route that took me across Chase and into the Emerald/Renette/Johnson area but my sweet protective hubby did not approve. I guess the 1.8 route will have to do for now. I'm actually quite excited to try it!

For the one person who reads this blog, if you have any free time, got a better loop I can try?
