How to start Project 365

Do you own a camera? Even better, do you own a cell phone with a camera built in?

  1. Start snapping pictures where ever you are, what ever you're doing, who ever you're with. The only rule with Project 365 is taking ONE picture everyday. It could be your lunch, your best friend, your favorite book, your pet, the weather, your pinky toe... anything!!

  2. Download them on to your computer. Now, 365 pictures might become difficult to manage so when you download your pictures on to your computer, create monthly files. Then you can view your images by month. At the end of the project, the pictures will be more organized and easier to manage with a post-project (should you choose to do one).

  3. Think about uploading your images to a photo-sharing site like Picasa or Shutterfly. Each of these sites make it easy for you share your images with family and friends. Moreover, they offer awesome post-project products like collage posters and scrapbooks.

  4. If you think you want to try your hand at blogging your Project 365, Blogspot offers an easy mobile blogging alternative. Once you have your blog set-up, follow the mobile set-up here. It's almost as easy as texting!

If you have an iPhone, read here about which app I chose to use for my Project 365.

If you find yourself stuck on the techy side of Project 365 whether it's creating a computer file or maxing out your blog space, shoot me an email and I'll be happy to help!

Check out "So I have 365 pictures, now what?" post for some post-Project 365 ideas!
