A Helping Hand

A Helping Hand, originally uploaded by A!ison.

Today I worked on that lemon of a coffee cart. The first week in December the refrigerator died and the following week the pump broke. David, the espresso repairman replaced the $400 pump but said that it worked so well all the lines leaked. So instead of paying his $100 an hour fee, I decided to change the lines myself. After using only a flat head screwdriver and a wrench, I got frustrated and called Big Chief* (who conveniently lives across the street) and asked to borrow some tools. Not only did he bring over some tools, he fixed some of the problems I was having.

My co-worker, who was outside with me at the time and also knows about my Project 365, snapped this picture of him and me working side by side.

Needless to say, I despise the coffee cart and it's never ending issues. However, I LOVE the ministry and for that I suck it up and do what I can to keep it going.

*Big Chief is my boss. Check out yesterday's post... he's in that one too.
