And the winner is...

Dear Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences,
Watched your show tonight via a myriad of live web streams. My husband and I try to see all the best picture nominations before your big show but this year with you throwing ten, yes ten pictures in the mix, we only got to six. This year's winner, The Hurt Locker was one of the six we saw and I have to say it was horrible. The characters were dull and underdeveloped. The story moved at a snail's pace and I was so relieved when it was finally over. I could go back to watching my grass grow or cutting my toenails. For the first time since 1998 when you pretentious jerks thought Shakespeare In Love was better than Saving Private Ryan have I ever been more disappointed in your choice. Seriously, out of TEN movies you picked this one? Tell me, did you reinduct all the '98 voters this year?
Oh, and one more thing... please stop inviting Sean Penn to these things. The guy is a total douche (pardon the language).

To all my Project 365 peeps: This picture might lead you to believe that I was backstage tonight handing these beautes out when in actuality I was home in my old lady robe and slippers watching on my computer like everyone else. So no, I did not take this picture but it has consumed my day, therefore it is my picture of the day. Would you have prefered me in my old lady robe? I thought not.

So I shouldn't waste my time -- here I was thinking this must be a great movie and I should see it!

Actually - The old lady robe would've been kind of fun!
