It's Moving Time

It's Moving Time, originally uploaded by A!ison.

Today we got approval to short sell our home.
Today we entered into a 30-day escrow.
Today I bought $120 worth of boxes to begin packing.

There is a certain level of anxiety in my home this evening. We have 30 days to find a place to live. This news comes 2 months ahead of schedule. Even our realtors are shocked.

30 days. That is not a lot of time. It's kind of hard to not worry. So I read Matthew chapter 6. It says,

...I tell you not to worry about everyday life... Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? So don’t worry about these things... These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

Such wise words. I mean, isn't it so true that worrying brings you no benefit. It actually depletes you life, doesn't it? Sadly, I've had a little depleted today. I think once I get over the shock, life will be golden once again.

This is turning into a blog full of photos of cars :-P

Wow I'm shocked, I guess you were a little too good at your house staging! If it's any help, there are at least 4 apartments near us that are for rent and I'm only 5-6 miles from work :)
