Tiny, originally uploaded by A!ison.

Had a TON of errands to run today and right when I was leaving the house, my cousin called in a panic and asked if I would be willing to come get his son for the day. What a treat!

Let me tell you, what I thought was going to be an average day of running around town turned out to be one of the best days of the year! He is the most delightful child. He's got it all... charm, wit, sensitivity. He's polite around adults, he listens and overflows with affection.

He loves other kids too! I took him to McDonald's so he could play and he made friends with every kid in that tunnel gym. When we were walking around Old Navy, he saw a little girl, walked up to her and casually said "Hi". You would have thought he was some creepy old man offering her candy. I clearly saw the difference right there. Some kids have a natural approach to social situations and some don't.

He never once complained about the amount of shopping we did. I can tell his mama likes to shop. :) He stayed close by and engaged with everything whether it was a person or a pair of shoes.

We went to Costco and picked up a pizza for dinner. Around 6PM, his dad showed up, had dinner and took him home. Fifteen minutes after he was gone, I missed him terribly. I was pleasantly shocked how he added so much joy to my day. I wish all days could be like today.

In this picture he is posing with his McDonald's toy. He named it Tiny.

BTW, three months officially down today in Project 365!!!
