Changes and Other Random Thoughts

Chachacha Changes, originally uploaded by A!ison.

Look at all the changes around here!

First let me say THANK YOU to everyone who voted for the husband's pseudonym. Officially DJ Kwow won but owner's choice or in this case my husband, trumps the readers. Sorry, we all wasted our time. Special K wasn't even a choice!! I'd like to thank Rollerscrapper for sneaking that one in on a comment she left.

Special K woke up this morning sick so needless to say we did not get to go to church. Unlike back home, there was no way I was going alone. But the good news is, I caught church on the live feed at ECW! It was so grand to see everyone. I told Roo today that for the first time ever I didn't want fellowship to end. The preaching was incredible too! Wow! Oh how I love technology.

We received a reverse 911 call today saying our county is under a "boil-water advisory". We must boil all water for 5 minutes before using to wash dishes, brush teeth, drink or cook. Anyone ever heard of this? And what kind of "contamination" are they talking about?

I guess that explains my Project 365 picture.

My momma is coming to visit me in September! She has made me very happy. I am a little bummed because that is right smack dab in the middle of hurricane season so I'm afraid it will be raining the whole time. Not the kind of weather that's alluring. But we'll have fun rain or shine!

Speaking of visitors, The Captain and Tennille, AKA Rollerscrapper will be here in less than two weeks!! The Greek family and the Crooked Tiara family have been plotting destinations for their visit in hopes they will grow to love it here too.

And lastly I would like to say thank you to my momma's BFF. You know who you are... Beatle's lovin', La Mesa livin', LOST devotin', Crooked Tiara reader. I just want to say I'm glad you check in to "spy" on me. A blogger's lot in life is to have readers, so thanks for reading.

OMG awesome!!! The captain and I were lamenting how we couldn't vote for Special K, but woo hoo!!!!

We can't wait to see you and Mr and Mrs Greek!

maybe we can go see the Weeki wachee Mermaids. I'm sure The Captain and Special K would hate it but the Greek did suggest it!

Btw...weirdest thing, sunday during the sermon I thought, wouldn't it be cool if Alison watches from Fla. and voila I find our you were!! God also told me during that sermon that I MUST seek out Pam and give her a big ol hug. My husband thought I was crazy, it took me 15 minutes or so after church to find her but she got God intended hug :) Hope to give you one soon!! XO

Thanks Brandi. You are always say the kindest words. It means a lot to me that you read here. That is weird about church!! I saw Pam on the live feed and texted her right away. It was great.
