My Floors

My Floors, originally uploaded by A!ison.

I spent ALL DAY moving from one end of the house to the other with a broom and swifter. When we moved in the floors were FILTHY! Our socks would be black by the end of the day. I cleaned the floors as best as I could but I felt like I did not contain the filth. Uh oh, here comes the part where you roll your eyes at me and secretly say in your mind "she's a fruitcake." So ya, I'll say it again, I don't think I contained the filth.

I would get, let's say the kitchen... I would get the kitchen floor cleaned only to walk into the contaminated living room and walk back into the kitchen. Greeeeat, the kitchen is dirty again. If you think I'm making a joke, I hate to tell you, I am not. #37 in my 100 Things About Me clearly states I am a clean freak. But I digress.

Today I was able to clean the floors to my total satisfaction. It feels great!

My husband and I went on a date tonight. He took me to dinner and a movie. I love the mall nearest to us. It's an outdoor mall (probably the only one in Orlando) that is similar to the Santee Mall back home. It has just about everything I need except for a Costco AND it's less than three miles from home. When we got out of the movie, it seems every teenager in the State of Florida was at this theater. My husband looked at me and said "I think we are too old for this mall." Hehe, my thoughts exactly.
