Clearwater Beach

Clearwater Beach, originally uploaded by A!ison.

Drove over two hours West to lounge by the waters of Clearwater. The water is clear and very calm. The sand is fine and felt like silk under your feet. If you are looking for a beach that has a caribbean-type feel to it, Clearwater is the place. The water is not deep, ideal for wadding and because the water is so still, the beach overall is quiet. It's mellow, chill, laid back; perfect for avid readers or nappers. The Captain loved Clearwater. You can see his toes on the far left. He said he could have hung out there all day. I'm glad we found a bit of paradise for him here in Florida. =)

Me personally, I like the energy of a wavy beach. I like the sound of waves crashing, like the feel of a wave even better! There's a little more liveliness in the people too. Clearwater was lovely but I think Cocoa Beach is more my style.
