White Teeth

White Teeth, originally uploaded by A!ison.

Discolored teeth ruins a smile. Don't mean to sound harsh but it's true. You could have the straitest most beautiful smile in town but if they're yellow, forgetaboutit.

Now I know there's a lot more to a smile but for today I'm working on the color. Bought this kit at Costco and I took a picture of my teeth before so I could see if I see results. At the end of my treatment I'll post the before and after.

Any of the 4 people that read this blog whiten teeth?

I have always wanted to! My best friend Kim works in dentistry and they use zoom whitening and also bleach. Parkway even has a kiosk for instant whitening now!! Can't wait to see if the Crest works :)

Make sure to drink lots of fluids on days you use these. They dehydrate your teeth which makes them ache. The captain swears that if you stay hydrated your teeth won't ache, but I was too afraid to try again.

So to answer your question, I grew up using Gleem toothpaste. I knew friends who couldn't use it because it was so strong. It had whiteners, breath fresheners, and I'm pretty sure it also had some nuclear fission in the paste as well. :P So, as far as whitening goes, I've inadvertently been whitening my teeth since I could brush. I mostly drink water and coconut water now so my teeth don't get stained from coffee but tea or food will stain them over time and that's when I do use the cheapest package of Crest whitestrips I can find.
