Black Friday Events
Started at Bed Bath and Beyond who unbeknownst to me had opened at 12:01! It was awesome because there was no line and the store was empty! Same with Old Navy. Woohoo! I missed my momma though. My brother took my spot as her Black Friday shopper but I had no one to take her spot! We texted throughout the morning and that seemed to help.
Target, as always, had an incredible set-up. I was not planning on shopping there but had finished my other shopping so quickly, thought I'd pop in to see what I could expect for next year. Their doorbusters were spread out over the entire store spreading out the people inside the store. Also, they had some doorbuster electronics at the pharmacy to help alleviate the electronics department. Genius! I love Target on Black Friday. Year in and year out they prove to be the leader for Black Friday shopping.
Best Buy on the other hand, proves every year to be a Black Friday nightmare. Unimaginable lines and limited product... I will NEVER shop there on Black Friday. On top of that, Best Buy offers merchandise that can easily be ordered online for a much cheaper price.
Ate the best leftover turkey sandwich.
Baked Christmas cookies and listened to Trans Siberian Orchestra!!
Busted out the Christmas decorations! In today's pic you can see Special K untangling the Christmas lights. We have a fake tree which is a huge bonus when wanting to get the tree up the day after Thanksgiving.
My right arm which has been bothering me for a few weeks now, completely flipped out on me. I had searing pain all down my arm so bad I cried like I was 2 years old. For the next 2 hours I iced it which helped a little but not enough. I took a handful of asprin and went to bed. Special K had to dress me in my pj's, it was that bad.
If my arm didn't hurt it would have been a perfect day!
