Date Night

Date Night, originally uploaded by A!ison.

I love date night with my favorite guy. Even better is double date night with T.$ and mo.honey. Yes, it's true, we have a love affair with these people. They are just good-natured, down-to-earth, fun-loving people. They are easy going which makes decision-making easy and they are no-nonsense so you always know where you stand which makes for a healthy and secure friendship, IMHO.

Anyway, we went to CPK for dinner. Being that it was a chilled 60-something degree day all day, I opted for soup which was a-ok. YUM! Afterwards we walked to the movie theater and watched Red, cute and entertaining. On our walk back from the theater we stopped in at my favorite dessert shop and bought these lovies. Well, we just couldn't see eating these without a hot cup of coffee so we stopped in at Starbucks. And it was perfect because by the time we got out of the movie, the temp had probably dropped to 55 degrees. It felt like we were walking in Julian, California. The air was so crisp and cold! Made me excited for the upcoming holidays.

This was our last Friday night for awhile... we will be honored with out-of-town guests for the next FOUR weeks. Can barely contain myself!!!

BTW, today's photo was taken by mo.honey. She's got mad photo-taking skills dontcha think?

They had a pumpkin spice cupcake that was delicious! That's the half eaten one on the side. And yes, I got the red velvet... cannot leave that shop without one! =)

WOW, that's so cool that you used my photo of your mini cupcakes! Surprising that a non-iPhone or Droid X can take pretty good photos. Huh, who woulda thunk it. Thank you so much for the kind words. T.$ and I think THE world of you both. You are our lifeline here and we couldn't be more blessed with great friends like you. Here's to more laughs, heart-to-hearts, walks, and date nights! ♥
