The Gecko part II
Our dilemma has taken up residence in our home. What's the deal? Toads acting like cats that live in our garage, wolf spiders that seem to love our home's atmosphere, and now gecko's that find our FAKE dusty plant a better home than the LIVE fresh vegetation outside.
I gotta tell ya, I'm not a critter-lover. I love being outside working in the yard or camping or even just taking a walk but I can do without the bugs and varmints, seriously. But apparently I have moved to the bug and varmint capitol of the world and it feels as though I'm the only person in Florida accosted by such.
So what do with this little guy? On one hand he will keep all the dreaded wolf spiders away or ingest the ones brave enough to enter but on the other hand he has to relieve himself somewhere... where? The fake plant? The corner of the floor? (skin crawls) Our garage smells like a reptile tank, what will the gecko's corner of the house eventually smell like? (actually vomits a little)
Problem #51, I like that fake plant. It goes nicely in that corner.
Problem #38, he was able to get indoors through the sliding glass door that would allow a small animal to enter if it so wished! So what's stopping it from returning after we removed him? I know firsthand that wildlife is known to do that.
So what is a girl to do?
