Gator Slippers

Gator Slippers, originally uploaded by A!ison.

A long time ago I owned a cute pair of slippers, fuzzy wuzzy pinks and purples, even had a splash of silver tinsel. My feet would sparkle as I walked! I loved this slippers. Then one cold day, Special K put them on in some emergency like taking the trash out or something like that. His feet are so fat, they stretched out my pretty princess slippers and I never got to wear them again. And since they now fit Special K's feet perfectly, he continued to wear them.

In the beginning he only wore them when it was just him and I. There were days I would ask him to get the groceries out of the car or grab the newspaper and he would exclaim "But I have my slippers on!". But all that's changed now. He's past being embarrassed wearing the most girlie slippers in the universe. He wears them in front of company and will walk down the street in them if he has to. And this may seem like a good ending to this story but it's not!

I have been slipper-less this ENTIRE TIME!

Every year I ask for slippers, adorable-insanely fuzzy-princess slippers. Last year I got regular ol' red slippers. They kept my feet warm but that's it. There was nothing spectacular about these slippers. Special K's slippers outshined everytime.

Well, this Christmas was no different. I asked for adorable-insanely fuzzy-princess slippers and I got (refer to picture above). Now I will admit that these are pretty gosh darn cute but not practical in any way, shape or form. So I already have my first Christmas wish for next year.... adorable-insanely fuzzy-princess slippers.

This story cracks me up, does he still wear the princess slippers? Those gators, while cute look like they would trip me up if I had them, an accident waiting to happen, but I'm a klutz

Who needs books when I have your blog?! This story explains a lot! T.$ and I were trying to stifle our giggles and amazement when we saw K open the door on Christmas Day in those crazy pink-purple slippers. LOLOL!
