Mexican Rub Recipe

I LOVE rubs, waaaaaay more than marinades. You get more flavor and less points for a rub and it's EASY, no wait-time like a marinade. So here is one of my favorite rubs, use it on just about everything!



MEXICAN RUB

1 tb. cumin
1 tb. packed brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. coriander
1 tsp. oregano

Does it have a sweet taste because of the sugar or just tangy???? YSM

It's not a strong spicy rub. I suppose the brown sugar makes it more sweet.

What meat do you prefer using this on? Beef? Chicken? Pork?
